Buccal Massage
The treatment includes specific techniques targeting the face, neck and jaw. It includes manual lymphatic drainage, fascial work, facial massage and intra-oral techniques. Intra-oral techniques are gloved; the therapist works on the muscles inside of the mouth that aren't normally addressed. This is an effective treatment for decreasing muscle tension, releasing trigger points and reducing facial edema.
Benefits:
Reducing Jaw pain as a result of Bruxism (Jaw clenching and Teeth grinding)
Reducing TMJ symptoms
Reducing Headaches
Increasing circulation
Decreasing facial edema
Cupping with massage
Cupping with massage is a powerful combination that helps reduce muscle tension, improve circulation, and promote deep relaxation. This technique uses suction cups to gently lift the skin and tissues, helping to release tight muscles, flush out stagnation, and support the body’s natural healing process. When paired with massage therapy, cupping can be especially effective for treating chronic pain, sports injuries, stress, and stiffness. It’s a gentle but targeted approach that leaves you feeling looser, lighter, and more balanced.
Instrament Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization
Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) uses stainless steel tools on muscles, skin, tendons, and ligaments to promote blood flow to a specific area, temporarily decrease pain, and increase Range of motion with the use of compressive stroke techniques.
This technique can be used for conditions like: Tendonitis (ex. Tennis elbow, Achilles Tendonitis)
IT Band Syndrome
Shin splints
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Neck Pain and Back pain
***This technique does cause temporary bruising/redness to the treated areas.
Hot Stone Massage
Post Natal
Congrats Mama! Welcome to the wild world of motherhood. We are here to help you restore and recover after child birth. Massage therapy will help you relax and recharge after a demanding day with your newborn baby. Our RMTs will create a customized treatment plan for each new mother that will target sore areas such as the back and neck.
Hot stone massage is a deeply soothing treatment that melts away muscle tension, improves circulation, and encourages full-body relaxation. Smooth, heated stones are placed and used throughout the massage to warm the muscles, allowing for deeper work without added pressure. The gentle heat helps ease stiffness, calm the nervous system, and promote a sense of grounding and balance. It’s a comforting and restorative experience that leaves you feeling relaxed, recharged, and at ease.
